today imma introduce a nasi lemak stall – Capitol Nasi Lemak which is located at Gajah Berang, a few doors away from the famous Taiwan Pork Ribs Mee 台湾排骨面. i think it has no relation to the Capitol Satay Celup, i think. and i didn’t chance upon it, my friend T brought me there for brekkie one morning.
oh the leisure to enjoy brekkie on a weekday, oh those days before both of us are tied with work commitment *reminiscent*.
here at Capitol Nasi Lemak, you’ll get to choose the condiments to pair with your nasi lemak, like chapfan (economic rice). We had the sambal cockles and sotong along with the usuals – egg, ikan bilis, peanut, kangkung and cucumber.
since it’s nasi lemak manned by Chinese, the sambal is on the sweet side, isn’t hot as Malay’s, suitable to those who can’t handle spicy. for me, i prefer the sambal to be hotter, like me lol.
the fried chicken was fresh from the wok while we’re eating, hurriedly got a kaibei for myself.
revisited with colleagues weeks later for lunchy. the eatery can get crowded during lunchy hour and do expect to queue. however service is brisk, it didn’t took too long to order and food is served shortly after.
this time the dishes was served in individual plates and being shared among us three. it’s like eating economic rice with fragrant fattening rice (nasi lemak :/ ), delectable but isn’t really economic, the lunchy cost us around RM 25 with beverages.
