Penang bridge does look magnificent eh. i was lucky to get this shot thanks to the sun light and cotton candy clouds as a nice backdrop!
i snapped a few shots the other day, too bad, they were all lack of lustre, no thanks to the haze. seems like haze is back again

this is another my all-time favourite tom yam in Penang! the price varies depending what ingredient you choose. a bowl of this with fresh fish fillet and some minced meat would cost you RM 9. however the quality is inconsistent, one day you might get it mild, while you’ll get a fiery one the next visit. so be prepared!
if tom yam is not your thang (how could it be!), clear soup version is also available!

LC told me there’s a new house-turned-shophouse along Jalan Sungai Dua last week and i was eagerly wanting to try it out. so off we went after yoga just now.
Tom Yam Fish Fillet with extra meat balls | RM 9
my verdict: it’s BERRY spicy can die with subtle sweetness. sourness was unfortunately compromised.
we were perspiring and panting trying to finish this bowl of tom yam. we don’t even perspire like that during our yoga class earlier on seimou. half way, i looked up, i saw a drop of tear escaping from LC’s eyes. and i turned around, everyone who’s having this reddish spicy bomb had flushed cheeks, natural blusher. it IS spicy. you have been warned ya! my favourite tom yam is still this one by Thai!

look out for this shophouse, right opposite of Ghim Hin Restaurant (our favourite dinner place!) along Jalan Sungai Dua.
tongsui is also available. but for decent one i suggest you head straight to Sweet-i.
