okok i know Box 3 is already out! but still, i wanna talk about Box 2! it’s my first beauty box from TheLilacBox, so must document it la

if you’re in the beauty blogging scene, you should have known that the some of the Box 2 arrived in disastrous condition, and mine was one of them! leaky products dampened the whole box, making it really gross and yucky. i emailed the management that night itself and he said he would compensate us! so yay! i got a new Box 2 the following week.

this time it was a perfect clean & fresh date!

Nuxe Rêve de Miel Cleansing Gel

they are more careful with the packaging this time. this tube of Nuxe cleansing gel comes in a ziplock bag!

This soap-free gel enriched with Honey and Sunflowers, gently removes make-up while cleansing and soothing the face in a single step. A treat for the senses that leaves the skin feeling impeccably clean. Suitable for all skin types especially sensitive skin.

it works more like a cleansing milk which does great in removing make up! cleansing part, not so.

that’s why i’ll double cleanse my face using my own facial cleanser.

Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse

A cult favourite of many women and celebrities, this multi-usage oil is nourishing yet easily absorbed for face, body and hair. Made with 30% concentration of Precious Plant Oils and Vitamin E. This formula contains ingredients of 98.1% natural origin. Silicone and paraben free.

this is the ultimate product in my toiletry bag which i brought along to Sibu recently! i use it to remove make up and sunbin massage my face before washing it off with facial cleanser. then after shampooing my hair, i apply it on my hair (2 inch away form the scalp) as a hair care products! and then rub the remaining oil residue on my elbows! and it smells good too! berry sensual and relaxing

Redken Intra Force Shampoo & Conditioner

notice how they sellotaped the cap? this was the culprit that messed up my previous date! >:(

anyway, Intra Force promises 30 days to thicker and fuller hair for natural and colour-treated thinning hair. i don’t have any problem with hair thinning *touchy wood* but my hair is chemical-treated from colouring, perming, rebonding. yesh i love to play with my hair! i’m waiting (im)patiently for the fringe to grow now, before rebonding my tresses!

i likey the cooling effect they leaves on my scalp! my hair does feel moist and tamed after shampooing and conditioning! the scent reminds of some chinese herbal medicine though :/

all in all, i am pretty satisfied with the products i got! i am using all the products other than the Lunosol’s powder foundation!

people has been asking me, which beauty box to subscribe ar cos they keep seeing me posting about beauty box and their hands get itchy! The Lilac Box is one of my recommendation, and also MIVVA! The Lilac Box because it’s you know, a boxful of premium products. and i love that there’s always a lil’ surprise in MIVVA’s!
