Hokkaido cake has been a rave on blogosphere since end of last year, but it somehow didn’t tickle my fancy to actually get some to try. until one fine morning, mami mentioned about Hokkaido cake! even my mother has tasted it, how can me the daughter more outdated than the mother pfft! and to my delight, mami actually went and bought two boxes as dessert after lunchy! yay!

the pastry house lives by the slogan – pure . healthy . creative!
they are also selling wide variety of breads!

good stuff is meant to be shared and enjoyed together, don’t cha think so too?

i don’t know the originality of this cake, but i think the name Hokkaido, was inspired by the icing sugar atop which resembles snowing?since Hokkaido is one of the best spot for snow sports.

Hokkaido cake is actually chiffon cake with cream filling. best eaten chilled!

the chiffon cake was so soft and fluffy, like cotton candy with smooth cream! now, i know why people raved so muchy about it.

ya, i notice the paper cups are similar. maybe is brother or sister?
Oh? So that’s why they call it Hokkaido. I’ve tried – nice, ok…but I still prefer Uncle Miki’s baked Japanese cheese cake.

their cakes are decent, but they are not cheap in price either, which is 1 of the factors that make me feel reluctant to go back and try some of their cakes (not a big fan of cakes, takut fat-fat
)
